I like my life, I am happy, fairly healthy and all the basic needed to sustain life are present. I have a happy marriage, lovely children and am free to pursue things I could not in my younger years. I wake up every morning grateful for what I have.
Then, I read the news and realize how unbalanced life on this planet is. Some have so much and want more and some have nothing and just want to survive another day. Their is war,strive, illness, hate and and anger all around us and when you fully inhale the stench of it you could really get the desire to check out early and see if there is a better afterlife.
But then, you look further and you do see beauty and kindness also surrounds you and you can't help but cling with tenacity to this life.
